Meet The Photographer
"When You Photograph a Face...
You Photograph the Soul Behind It."
- Jean-Luc Godard

Ever since I was a kid, I've had a camera in my hand. It's developed into a passion to create portraits that reflect my subject in a way they may have forgotten themselves.
Whether you want to rediscover your strength, your sensuality, your humor or other traits you cherish, I'll work with you to create an ever-lasting photograph.
Unlike a cell phone image, a portrait is not intended to capture a single moment in time. Rather, a portrait encompasses your essence and personality through a well thought-out process that starts before you’re even in front of my lens. We’ll spend time together to understand how you wish to be photographed, before we proceed with a focus on wardrobe, lighting, hair/makeup, and other elements that contribute to your professionally finished portrait.
I am a graduate of the Professional Photography Program at the New York Institute of Photography and I continuously supplement my digital darkroom and technical skills with classes with some of today's most celebrated photographers.
As a member of the Professional Photographers of America, I've volunteered with national non-profit organizations, primarily focused on photographing cancer patients. In addition to portraiture, I enjoy landscape, food and product photography.
